MOTHER & CHILD HEALTH CLINIC (MCH)

The department provides out patient care for children aged between 0-12 and women with obstetrical and gynaecological problems.

Services offered at the MCH Clinic include:

- Growth and Development Monitoring

- Immunization

- Family Planning

- Antenatal and Postnatal Care

- Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) services, including Children HIV testing

- Pediatric HIV Management at Baylor’s Clinic

- Neonatal Circumcision

All pregnant women are counseled to take a HIV test so they can be managed appropriately. All exposed infants are tested and those found to be positive are referred to the Baylor clinic for treatment. HIV testing for older children is also done at the Baylor clinic.
